Composition

Each ml contains 0.5 mg Halofuginone 0.50 mg.

Presentation

Containers of 500 ml and 1000 ml with a 4 ml transparent dosing pump.

Target especies

Dosage

Oral use in calves after feeding.
The dosage is: 100 μg of halofuginone/kg once a day for 7 consecutive days, which is 4 ml/20 kg once a day for 7 consecutive days.

Indications

Prevention of diarrhea in newborn calves caused by Cryptosporidium parvum in farms with a history of cryptosporidiosis. Administration should be initiated within the first 24 to 48 hours of life. Reduction of diarrhea caused by diagnosed Cryptosporidium parvum.

Withdrawal period

Meat: 13 days.
