Gastroherb Plus

Early recovery of faecal score

In the first 2 weeks after weaning (critical), piglets in group T (Gastroherb Plus) reach a score of 2-3 more quickly than the CTR (control) group. 

Piglet performance

Growth performance parameters of post-weaned piglets fed a base diet (CTR) or supplemented with Gastroherb Plus (T) for 35 days. 

Study design: Italy, 2021.
Randomised by weight and sex, 210 piglets (+/- 26 days old) divided into 7 pens/treatment, 15 piglets/pen.

Treatments:
Control (CTR) with base diet, Treatment (T) with Gastroherb Plus 1.5 kg/T.
