From September 6 to 10, Alivira participated as a Gold Sponsor in the 33rd World Buiatrics Congress 2026 (WBC 2026), held in Istanbul, Türkiye. The congress is one of the leading international events dedicated to bovine medicine and production. The event brought together more than 3,560 participants from 88 countries, consolidating its position as a key forum for knowledge exchange among veterinarians, researchers, academics, and animal health professionals.
This edition was particularly significant for Alivira, as it marked the company’s first participation as a sponsor of the congress, as well as its first time as a Gold Sponsor. This presence enabled Alivira to strengthen its commitment to the bovine sector and create new opportunities for dialogue and collaboration with professionals from different markets.
An International Presence Supporting the Bovine Sector
Alivira’s team was represented by professionals from Türkiye, Spain, and India, bringing together different market perspectives and experiences. Throughout the congress, the Alivira booth became a meeting point for customers, distributors, strategic partners, and veterinarians from different regions.

Alivira’s participation in WBC 2026 provided an opportunity to showcase several solutions from its bovine portfolio designed to address some of the main challenges facing animal production.
At our booth, visitors were able to learn more about products for udder health, injectable anti-inflammatory products for the management of pain and inflammation, as well as our range of injectable antibiotics for the treatment of infectious diseases. These areas were closely aligned with many of the topics discussed throughout the congress, highlighting the importance of continuing to develop solutions that contribute to improving animal health, welfare, and productivity.
Knowledge Exchange and Innovation
The congress scientific programme addressed some of the key challenges currently facing bovine medicine, including udder health and mastitis, bovine respiratory disease, reproduction, responsible antimicrobial use, animal welfare, sustainability, and new technologies applied to livestock production.
Several sessions also focused on immunity and inflammation in cattle, as well as pain management, an increasingly relevant aspect of veterinary practice and animal welfare.
Participating in this event allowed our team to gain first-hand insights into the latest scientific developments, exchange experiences with international experts, and strengthen relationships with professionals committed to advancing more efficient and sustainable bovine production.
