Phytosolutions participated as a sponsor in the International Symposium on Animal Health and Veterinary Phytotherapy in Reims.

Phytosolutions had the pleasure of participating as a sponsor in the Pre-Congress Symposium on Animal Healthcare and Veterinary Phytotherapy: Science and Practice, held in Reims, France, as part of the GA-Congress 2026 of the Society for Medicinal Plant and Natural Product Research.

The symposium brought together an international group of researchers, veterinarians, professionals and industry representatives to share knowledge and discuss the latest developments in veterinary phytotherapy. The scientific programme covered topics such as medicinal plants, ethnoveterinary medicine, animal self-medication, pharmacology and research into natural products applied to animal health.

Special attention was also given to animal feed additives and plant-based animal health products, reflecting the growing interest in developing innovative and sustainable approaches to supporting animal health.

Phytosolutions also contributed to the scientific programme. Our R&D Manager, Álvaro Fernández-Blanco, presented two scientific posters on the historical and traditional uses of medicinal plants in France and Hungary, highlighting the connection between traditional knowledge and current research.

The event provided an excellent opportunity for scientific exchange, networking and collaboration within the veterinary phytotherapy community. For Phytosolutions, participating in this international event reinforces our commitment to science-based veterinary phytotherapy and the development of evidence-based solutions for animal health.
